Age-Gated Player Profiles?!

Any suggestions? I can't cancel this account and make a new one, because all of my characters, extra content from DA: Journeys, and etc are linked to my EA account where I naively put in my true birthday. Apparently I don't have the right to view the profile for a game that I legally purchased (with my parent's permission since I'm not 18 yet).

What does that mean? I know what cookies are, but "do it over"? What is "it"? What's wrong with the default settings? I don't want to "redo" this account because all my in-game items are already linked to it.Fester Pot wrote...
Clear your cookies and do it over for the site. Don't use the default settings.

EDIT: Hmm, that info isn't on the EA site either... The only place I see my birthdate is listed on the Bioware account (the regular one, not this one), but I never entered that. That was a result of me using my EA account to make that account.

Same issue here, I can't view any profiles. My age should be 15, but that's the rating of the game (where I live anyway) so why would they block me from seeing some other people's characters, let alone my own? Seriously it makes no sense, they should have at least given us some warning about it...
As far as i am concerned, the ppl who own this game without making the age limit should not be able to play the game (i know it would annoy me too but i woulda just lived with it). However if this game is being sold internationally and thus to places where it is not certificated (just esrb rating) then they should have put steps in place to allow these ppl to access the site at the lowered age limit!
Can i ask where are you on this planet? i personnally thought it was all 18+

I'm also going to preorder Mass Effect 2 and I'll bet no one is going to say a word.

The age stated on the box is just a guideline, and shouldn't affect what I can/can't access on my profile.

I guess the reason they don't want you looking at your own details is to prevent you .... with yourself.
Yes, the world is full of stupid situations. No matter how old you get you can sometimes run into stuff that will get you as frustrated as when you were a youngster against mindless intractability.

I'll let you in on a secret... to the majority of young gamers (including myself until I "came of age" as it were) ESRB ratings are a joke. Besides which, in the US, "M for Mature" means 17, not 18.
Also, age gating websites is one of the dumber ideas that people have come up with recently. Kids ignore it to look at porn every day... do people REALY think they won't lie to get into "gasp" a GAMING site?

Option #1: Ignore it. You can play the game itself, and see your characters in game. Who cares about this site anyways?
Option #2: Delete this account and make a new one again. However, I'm not sure if this will remove your special content, like the Lucky Stone or the DA: Journeys stuff. In fact, I'm not sure if it will be possible to upload our characters at all. Some people's accounts here are linked to their EA accounts or Bioware accounts or whatever, so doing this might cause some trouble with all the uploading and special items.
Option #3: Make a new account with a new age and use it to look at your profile, which would be on your original account, Makes sense, but I don't think I want to go through that much trouble to get around this issue.
Option #4: Blame Spore and Battleforge. I made an EA account originally to play Spore and stupidly put in my real age. And now I never even play that game. Curse you EA!

I would do option 3 except it is a lot of work and I want to edit a toon out of my profile. My friend's mage is in there but I don't play her so I don't want her around.
Option 4 : I created it to try to buy games if I remember. Don't know why. Stupid reason when the game shop near me has free shipping most of the time if I'm lazy.
I'm doing option 1 now. I still enjoy the game so the social site isn't a biggie.
