Hello All,

I was wondering what your favorite quests were and why. The following were my favorite quests:

I laughed out loud during The Long Road companion quest... I brought along Isabella for lots of extra ribbing. This was the funniest moment in the entire game... I wished there'd been more of these moments to break the tension.

Another one was the Haunted House companion quest with Varric, there wasn't a lot to do, but the atmosphere was well done and appropriately creepy... especially when Varric starts talking about keeping the sliver of the idol... I got flashes of Varric becoming the guy from the Shining... here's Bianca! ;)

Speaking of which... I also enjoyed Varric's exaggerated attack on his brother's mansion.

Addition: Oh! I also liked the Qunari Mage quest, too! The ending of it was very memorable and gave me a great appreciation for how alien the Qunari are... and how good the Circle mages have things... if there is one thing that could bring the chantry and mages back together... it'd be the Qunari force converting mages... too bad I couldn't ship Anders off with the Arishok... please take him! ;)

So what quests stood out for you?

Long Road, Fighting the Arishok, The High Dragon, and the Climax are my top 4. Notice how 3 are the climaxes for each of the acts :D

Long Road, of course. Also the quest with Hawke's mother and the quest with Ketojan. Something about that poor guy really got to me.

The Qunari Mage quest, I forgot the name of it. The word favorite might not be accurate, but this quest gives me the biggest impact. This one and the final end game. It was a very difficult choice for me, I could choose to force him to live, or I could have him making his own choices and die. I don't agree with Qunari's whole idea about this "everyone serves a purpose", that you are borne into your role and you have no choice. But if I forced the Qunari Mage to live, it means I took his freedom to choose, even his choices might not be what I wanted.

So I let him killed himself... for a small quest that get me to think about all these philosophical questions... that's a first.

The one where I go to a strangely familiar looking locale and try to rescue a family member from a secret blood mage!

All That Remains. It was.... interesting, to say the least.

And of course, Long Road. :wizard:
