The animation issue on cut scenes is because the game uses very high detail cut scenes. A few things can be done to solve this: 1) the latest drivers, 2) if you don't have higher end cards, lower your resolution or graphics details.

there will ALWAYS be a fps drop in the cut scenes, but proper drivers, and proper game settings will minimize it.

I have the same problem as well and I am also NOT using steam. I get terrible lag that makes it almost imposible to play the game and in fact I have stopped becuase of that terrible lag.

I have 0 lag (see my system specs), and I'm running the newest nvidia beta drivers. The game is HIGHLY GPU based and doesn't use much of the CPU. I can't speak for ATI users, but the newest nvidia drivers has solved most of the perf issues for nvidia people. The right click mouse/mouse over action bar also seems to be a driver issue. I once had that, and it went away with newer drivers.

i can confirm that this BUG is not fixed with current savegames and that BTcentrals save editor fix works perfectly to fix this BUG. Anyone who actually has this bug should use that fix, until bioware fixes the bug with another patch. 

I have done a full computer check and I can confirm my pc is running perfectly AWESOME. Glad bioware finally recognized this as a gameplay bug and not a hardware related problem.

I'm having the same lag, intermittently every 5 seconds or so. I might have the strongest PC known to man so it's not hardware or background app related. Is someone going to get us an answer or are we just wasting our breath?

Issue has been filed and we'll be looking in to it. If anyone else has this issue please let me know if you have a steam version or not.

I'm running the Steam version and have this trouble.
