We are very fortunate here on Okinawa and our island was largely (physically) unaffected by the disaster in Northern Japan. Keep sending us good thoughts and energy though, almost everyone on the island has a close friend or relative who is lost or has lost everything on the mainland. Malegeant (my hubby, for those of you who are reading this and have no clue who we are) is very very busy with search and relief efforts, but I have read and passed on all of your kind words and he tells me that it helps to know that so many people around the world really care about the well being of our survivors.
Additionally- thousands upon thousands of people have lost EVERYTHING. Literally every peice of property they owned has been swept awy, so if you have a couple of spare blankets, or an old coat mouldering away in a closet somewhere, please consider bringing it down to your local Red Cross to donate to the relief efforts.
Thank you again my friends, for your well wishes, and for stepping up once again and proving that the international gaming community is full of compassionate, moral people.
Thank you to eveyone who sent wonderful emails to me and Mal...
