Has Bioware mentioned anything about a trophy for this? I've played through it twice and was so annoyed when I found out. But I'd be fine with going through another playthrough, I haven't played as a warrior yet.

I just finished my 2nd playthrough and didn't get the trophy. It's the only one I need for the platinum. I don't own DA:O so I couldn't import a save file.

This is really disappointing. I got the game day one, didn't experience any of the big glitches/bugs that lots of people experienced (except for freezing once or twice), and then right at the very end I have to deal with this bug.

I hope Bioware gets around to fixing these things in a patch soon.

If Bioware does fix this, will it unlock automatically if I've already done 2 playthroughs, or will I have to do another one to get it?

I've been wondering that too. I already put over 60 hours into the game. I don't want to have to do another playthrough just to get the trophy to unlock. I have my 2 post-campaign saves. So hopefully when (if) they patch this I can just load both of them and get it.

Bear in mind everyone that saves are region locked. means that if you have NA DA:O and your DA2 is EU you cant import the saves. my mistake was to buy a used DA:O NA and now i cant import my save to DA2... bugger

I am not sure if Bioware had acknowledged this , but this was already known by a lot of people where if you beat the game without a DA:O save you will not obtain the achievement regardless how many times you complete it.

I guess I must be one of the lucky ones?  I got the trophy after beating the game a second time (and have gone on to get my platinum trophy).  I'm playing the european version of the game, so I don't know if that changes anything (all of the bugs so far seem to be common to all versions worldwide, so I don't know why it would be different here).

I 'd like to specify that I didn't play DAO (thus no import data) and that the trophy unlocked after beating the game in a second playthrough.

Add me to this list.  I played Origins but I was unable to import my Origins game save due to my PS3 dying a while back.  I played through the game twice, once as a mage and once as a warrior.

I did not receive the Epic trophy.  Very frustrating.

I've beaten it three times.. with each class. Wish I could get that trophy, ha.

I'm a completionist, so I've put in about 120 hours (I have far too much spare time) over 3 playthroughs, but I haven't finished my third one yet.

Lucky you. I'm playing the European version as well (UK), but still, nothing.

I got with my rouge 1st time round cuz I imported my warden's story from Origins.

Having the same issue.. Finished my second playthrough and no 'Epic' trophy pop. Different class, chose different sides, also a different pre-loaded Origin story if that matters. (Played DA:Origins on 360 so no game of my own to load.) Be nice if we could get an official comment on this.

Same here. Although I imported data from Witch Hunt. That was previously imported from Golems, that was previously imported from Awakening, that was previously imported from from Origins. An Epic well deserved.

This is just hypothetical based on my experience with trophies/achivements in general:

Once it gets patched you should just have to load your save before fighting the end boss and complete the game again from there on both playthroughs.

This is a different issue. If you kill Meredith while she's doing her ambients (can be done if your characters are stun immune) they will persist in post-campaign and break your game. You can simply wait for her to finish talking (everyone is unstunned) and then kill her for now to remedy this.

Awaiting patch, second play through, no guides, was meticulous to get everything so that I'd get my trophy. Low and behold, no trophy for me... Any update from the great blue bioware bear on when we can look forward to a patch?

Just Finished my second play-through, no epic trophy. No save imported from dao. It's not a major problem as I'm looking forward to trying out the rogue class. I'll just wait for the patch first.

That makes me really leary. I'm coming up on the end of Act 3 on my second playthrough, no Origins save. I'll let you know later today if it pops :3

I just finished my second playthrough and it popped no problem right when the credits started rolling. So happy! Just Mass Exodus and I get my shiny Platinum
