Since he kind of alluded to this being patched, I'm just holding tight till after the patch. If it's fixed, platinum. If not, I'll likely not play the game again.

Yesterday i finished the game for the second time with the Mage (first time i was warrior) and NO EPIC TROPHY.
I tried to re-beat the last boss with the warrior without shutting down the ps3 and still no trophy.

I just beat it on a second playthrough as well. First time mage, sided with the mages. Second time a warrior, siding with templars. Both had differnet pre loaded origins info, I played the first game on my PC unfortunatly...

and.... no trophy:crying:

I never played DAO so iv just bout the ultimate edition with all DLC's from amazon n im gona get it with an import save. Surly they HAVE to fix this though, sony would make them wouldnt they?
completed it 3 times all classes! wasnt happy lol

As of the newest patch 1.01 this is still not fixed. I beat the game on two seperate characters again and... nothing.

I actually got this trophy on the PS3. Was surprised. Note I went from origins to awakening and finally to witch hunt, so I skipped out Golems.

Yeah same here, the patch did not allow me to get the epic trophy.

Well, in the patch notes, it doesn't mention anything about trophies being fixed. I'm pretty sure such a thing like that would be mentioned if it had been fixed.

I have had this problem for a while also. Its a good game and I would like the platinum so I could show full completion.

Just beat the game for the third time (no import, played DA:O on PC), and still did not get the Epic trophy. I specifically waited until after the patch as I thought there was no way it wasn't going to work then... I was sorely mistaken.

I was so disappointed with Bioware not fixing it, as I think it was most important thing for PS3 users, all the other small bugs were manageble. I have bought the game on release day played it 3 times with different characters using different background story and I cannot get rid of the game as I need this one pice of sugar trophy to get my platinium.

if they are not going to fix it soon, it is going to be last time I bought Bioware product for sure

I suppose still no patch to fix this since PSN is down? have the same problem..only one trophy left- EPIC, completed DA2 three times - no trophy, don't have any DA:O saves, can i somehow get platinum? Or Bioware sucks ?

I can confirm 100% for anyone who is unsure that it is impossible to get the trophy without an imported file from Origins. I played DA2 first and played as all 3 classes, no trophy, so I bought Origins, completed that, replayed DA2 using the import, got it first time! Just so you know, i bought Ultimate Origins Edition off the UK amazon site for £17, all DLC and its really if you dont know already! Definitly worth the money!

This will be fixed in the next patch. We've identified the issue with it and basically it comes down to some weird mathemagical error with PlaythroughID #s. It's technically possible for you to get it without importing right now but it's somewhat unlikely at present.

The good news is that once it's fixed, you should be able to just load a save right before the end fight and do that again (possibly the post-campaign save would work)

To give you an understanding of your odds of getting this to work right now:

The Playthrough ID generation creates a random number between 1 and 4 billion. If your ID number is > 214 million (and change) it wont count currently. So, thats ~21.4% chance per playthrough.

Thanks, I was thinking of buying Origins. I played and finished it at my uncle's house on PC.

Interesting... So if I do as many playthroughs as possible, I have a chance at getting the trophy?

wanted to add my name to the list here, 2 playthorughs, mage and warrior, a little annoying, previous console died mid playthrough so lost all my origins and dlc saves. ended up starting again on my new console.

Is there a rough eta on when the next patch is likely to go live?
couple of weeks? couple of months?

I just completed my 2nd playthrough tonight and quite annoyed about not getting the trophy but has anyone considered that the PSN is still down? we wont get the patches (if any) after that problem has been seen to

I have also played it a 2nd Time through and epic Trophy did also Not appear. Luke, can u pls advise when u r going to implement the fix of this annoying Bug. I have spent more than 120h and i really like DA2; this is the last Trophy for me to get platinum. I want to keep a good Impression of it and As a trophyhunter this fix is really Important to me. sorry for my english; i do live in Germany and i am a member of the PS3 Trophy Forum, so i would post yr Information As a Lot of us are Having the Same Problem and they don't really Know what is going on here and would Love to hear that the fix of this Bug will Be Coming asap. thanks

guys I have played through DA2 3 times,warrior,mage and thief for each.and still not got the Epic trophy.PLZ help me,fix this damn bug.I want that platnium trophy.
