Just to rub it in - it's good enough that I made my Staff of Parlathan evolve with levels like Fadeshear does.

Nice to see the PC guys using their eyes as well as their keyboards.
Don't hate just because we get all the awesome mods.

There's a very good xbox save editor about but that's all I've seen I'm afraid.

Where did you find the save editor for the xbox? As far as the PC choice goes, not all of us have that option. Sadly myself I bought a laptop I thought was amazing that turns out to have a graphics card issue wich more or less makes it garbage. So, I could get if for the PC if I want a black screen every 10-15 minutes.
Besides, DO2 seems to have one foot in both the PC and the console favors.

Name one console favour. Just one.

I'm not hating, just pointing out that my post clearly stated that we can mod which was greated by 2 daft posts.

It's called "First Blight" current versions 1.0.8.0 which allows you to mod cash, weight (backpack size), attributes (all characters), skill/spell points (main character only) and specialisation points.
You can also edit your items properties, which looks a bit confusing at first but isn't too bad. The limitation being that you cannot ADD a property only change those already there or replace them with another, so in the case of the staff of parlathon I replaced the +2 magic with levelling up and compensated a little by increasing the number of rune slots to 2.
If you need a hand let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Sorry, that's Gamesharking you are doing on the little toy consoles.
The PC gamers are the ones MAKING the mods, on top of the fact that they can use gazillions more of them - including all the best ones.
And yeah, that's kinda mean. But console gamers need to know their place... they live in the Darktown region of the gaming universe.
(Gotta do something to counter the fact that console gamers get 99% of the shelf space in game stores! GAH!

I think there is plent of room all over the internet for ranting and complaning. If I could play this on PC, I would. I like a lot of diffrent titles for a lot of diffrent consoles or on PC. Being condecending because I happen to have a copy of the game for X-box is in no way constructive and would likely be better placed on a diffrent thread. Seriously folks, who cares?
Not condescending, just honest.
Mods are for the grown ups on the PCs.
Consoles are toys for kiddos. Enjoy pushing buttons and making stuff blow up!
For every person who claims buying it on the console was their "only option", there are 10 who would have bought it on the PC but bought XBOX/PS3 instead. Those people need to be educated into buying the PC version instead.
I'm sick of PC area of gaming stores shrinking because EB/Gamestop makes 90% of their profit off used games.
PC is the best gaming platform, and everyone needs to know it!!!!!!!

Would you get over yourself? If not for the lockdown from the console makers, mods would be just as popular on the XBox 360 and PS3 as they are on PC and Mac; modding for UT3 is proof of that, since unless it's changed since the last time I checked, the PS3 version of that game is moddable.

Keep telling yourself that while you Gameshark your Fisher Price gaming toy. There are a lot of other huge reasons why mods fail and rarely exist on consoles, but if I have to explain then I'm wasting my time.
Meanwhile, the Gods of Gaming will continue to use their superior gaming machines: PCs.

Did you even notice what's in my signature? Or did you bother to check out my registered games before posting this; if you didn't, let me make it perfectly clear to you. I play on PC, I mod DAO and DA2, and I want console player to have the same ability as we do when it comes to playing with mods.

I don't care who you are, what your sig says, and I won't let it stand in the way of my fun pointing out what little silly toys the consoles are.
And I hope the console players NEVER get mods. Let them buy a good PC and the PC version of the game like the rest of us superior gaming beings.
Now go back to Gamesharking on your Easy Bake Oven console.

It's people like you that give PC gamers a bad reputation.

Those "silly little toys" would probably blow most PCs away if they weren't hobbled with 512 MB of system RAM. And considering I'm playing DA2 on a PC that I paid around $400 USD for, I can believe that if a PS3 or XBox 360 had at least 2GB of RAM for just the CPU and separate RAM for the video subsystem, it would do a heck of a lot better.
And I hope the console players NEVER get mods. Let them buy a good PC and the PC version of the game like the rest of us superior gaming beings.
There you go again... Drop that attitude and maybe people will like you better.

I'd hardly call having Dark Times: The Confederacy of Malkuth, Ser Gilmore NPC, the Tevinter Warden class, and Quests and Legends installed on my PC copy of Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition "gamesharking"... Not to mention the mod I'm working on for DAO called The Golem's Pride.

Not really. Just imagine his posts being spoken by a Volus, followed by something about being a 'Biotic God,' and you'll get a good feel for where his posts are going.
Real PC elitists take themselves more seriously, kind of like Jack Thompson.

You know, I originally planned to put like 12 smilies in my post, so people would know I was kidding around.
But then I thought "naw, just keep going and see how long it takes people to figure out you're just sarcastically teasing the console folks."
I thought the easy bake oven was so over the top that it would be obvious I was just kidding around.
Seriously folks.
I have nothing against console gamers figuring out ways to use mods. Sure, I think the PC is the best gaming platform, but that's just a personal opinion.

Exactly. It sounds like you could tell I was just kidding around.
These damn console users. They can't take a joke.
Then again, I'd be bitter too if I was trying to play advanced games on my Speak 'n Spell.
