This is propavly not a big issue, but I was wondering. I'm running the game on high setting with an. filtering at 16x. Today I decided to try if I could run it with anti-aliasing too. It ran fine...Until I encountered a candle.
I'm just wondering if it's intended for fire effects to have such fps slowdown on my computer with anti-aliasing on? I could post my PC specs, but this is more of a question. I mean, does this happen for anyone else? It runs perfectly expect when I encounter any kind of torch/candle.
Perhaps I've misunderstood what anti-aliasing really does. But some sort of answer would be nice. Thank you.
Anti-aliasing and fire?

I have exactly the same issue atm.
Pc Spec:
ATI Vapor X 5770
4GB Kingston 1666
Phenom 965 BE
All on stock speeds.
When i use high settings AAx8 + AFx16 and when i reach a candle somewhere /Gamlen's house or Dalish alianage are VERY good examples/ my FPS drops to single digits. This is the reason i am playing the game on medium DX11 atm - i still use AAx8 and AFx16. The fps is very stable and it works great, but having in mind my configuration i belive i should be able to play the game on HIGH.

Yeah, I got my graphics settings set up almost exactly like that.
