Hi guys, I'm unable to earn any friendship or rival points with Merrill, even after visiting her twice in the alienage.
Not sure whats the issue here, is this a bug that I have to restart my entire playthrough again?

Travel with her and do things she approves/disapproves of?

i did. the quest where you kill the magistrate's son. i earn points with everyone except for merrill. Merrill didn't give any friendship or rival points at all for any of the quests which i did.

To earn rivalry but not be mean to her don't consort with demons, burn demonic texts, don't assist her with her project but still do her quests, try to be diplomatic when in the fade. To earn friendship points, do the opposite.

The best way to get rivalry points is to do the Forbidden Text quest and destroy all the books. Great XP from the fights and she'll hate your guts for destroying all that ancient, magical knowledge.

i dont know whats wrong with ur game man, merrill is like the friendliest companion you meet.

carry her with you in quests that involve mages, be nice to her and always support mages (extra points if you can support them peacefully)
