Question For you all,
Does Choosing the Blood Mage Abilities with Hawke have an effect on how the story plays out, or does it make no difference like in DA:O?
Specs make no difference, like in DA:O.

Meredith's cruel supression of mages made them turn to demons in desperacy. Jowan in DA:O also turned to it to be more powerful as it has transpired that he is going to be made tranquil. There are always those who want to terrorize or lusts for power, but DA2 mages that turned to blood magic were mostly desperate.errant_knight wrote...
Yep, if Meredith had been had way resonable instead of a Stalin wannabe, I would totally have sided with the templars.
Wynne will chew you out though. Wardens live under a "any means neccesary" principle, and Blood magic is allowed among their ranksVandicus wrote...

If you play as mage and beeing threated by Meredith it's hard to like templars.
