I'm having a problem with the Sebastian DLC, but there seems to be a fix for it by using the console. I found this page, http://dragonage.wik...ing_a_game_file , on the DA Wiki and followed the shortcut step to enable the console. I created the shortcut and changed the target in the properties to "C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age 2\\bin_ship\\DragonAge2.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole just like the page says. I then went to the Key Bindings in the Settings folder and found that my "OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_X" line was missing the "_X". The wiki said that leaving it as just "Button_Grave" would make the default tilde, so I did't touch it. In the game, however, the console will not open. After hitting tilde I press "W" or "I" and I move or the inventory appears. I tried using F6 instead of tilde, nothing. I tested it by changing "move forward" to F6 instead of W, works. Running it as an admin does nothing. Can anyone point out anything that I've missed?

The console in DA2 is invisible, try typing something like: runscript killallhostiles
If that works, it's enabled.
If that works, it's enabled.

It didn't do anything. And after I hit tilde I can move around, so it's simply not opening.

Have you tried putting the key bindings back the way it was?Ander167 wrote...

All I needed was to use -enabledeveloperconsole either via shortcut or the launcher xml.
Then pressing what would be the tilde key on US keyboards (in my case `) starts the developer console as usual.
Edit: If you need the default KeyBindings.ini you can grab it here.
