End-game staves?

What is a really good one for a Mage end-game? I have my full-set of Champion's armor and now I really want a staff that is as unique and bad ass as the armor.

Loading up my save before my final battle, I had two unique staves on Merrill and Anders.
Torch of Falon'Din
Location: I think it's from Merrill's final companion quest.
42 Fire Damage (57 DPS)
2 rune slots
+16% Fire Damage
+8 Fire Damage
Final Thought
Location: Black Emporium for ~100g
48 Physical Damage (65 DPS)
1 rune slot
+4 Magic
+104 Mana
+33% Nature Damage
+33% Spirit Damage
5% to regenerate 9% mana

Orsino's weakest defenses are against lightning and spirit attacks.
Meredith's weakest defenses are against cold and spirit attacks.
You will be fighting something else but I won't say what. I'll only say that upgraded cold spells do extreme damage. Lightning spells work as well but if you have a choice, go with cold.
As for runes, try cross-typing. Use variations of the Spirit/Cold/Lightning triad. If the stave does cold damage, slot it with spirit and lightning damage runes. Lightning stave => spirit/cold runes. Spirit stave=> cold/lightning damage runes. The trick is to make sure that your staves will always do some sort of damage.
