I must say, no of them, they where as equally good but in different ways and I respected both of them.

Loghain because of how afraid I was during my travels, knowing that I was an outlaw and wanted. I feared him but never hated him and when I finally dueled him I let him live, I don't know why but I respected him. He was actually one of the most likeable characters, because in DA:O almost everyone is driven by egoism and they do care little for much else. Loghain cared for Fereleden and it's people even if i showed it in the wrong ways, but he cared and he was powerful. When I had to the choice to either kill or spare him I saw that and I also saw what an egomanica Alistar was. He was not the goodest of men, but he had good intentions.

I liked Arishok for different reasons, I never saw him as a villian and even though I did'nt care about the qun I still wanted to join him because Kirkwall is pure crap and Arishok saw that, we shared the same vision and well, he was cool.

Both are great villians and respectable characters.

The Arishok was an excellent character and I would have loved to see more of him, but imo Loghain wins. Simply, we have much more information of him, his life, his inner conflicts... He had many more development and a much larger background.

Or it can simply be that I love tormented characters lol. :P

Having said that, I admit the Arishok is much more imposing.

Loghain had a connection to other chars in the story making him a fuller more interesting char. The Arishok only spoke to hawk which was dumb idea story wise. Arishok was very Sten without a sense of humour. The Arishok may tell a joke in another story line but, I doubt I would get it.
Its a shame you cannot craft a pair drinking horns off his skull. Yes, I do not like him.
