Adding the ability to queue orders (A la Starcraft 2 & Supreme Commander) would make this game's battle sequences flow more gracefully, especially on nightmare mode. Instead of having to pause every 3 seconds or so, you could actually appreciate this game smoothy.

Without an actual modtool that's not possible at the moment. And even with a mod tool I highly doubt that would be possible.

Not really, what the OP wants is a system akin to the Infinity Engine games(Baldur's Gate, Icvewind Dale) etc.
