Ok, so i know this has to have been posted before but I am googling it
and looking at most of the walk-throughs and there not giving me
anything! So I am posting a topic.
When you get to the point
where you are talking to the Demon who is offering you a way to get out,
do you reject or accept his offer? I am currently in a position where I
have done both and saved both games but have not moved on any further. I
know Anders pretty much hates you if you take his offer, and I heard
that you probably get more items and xp from denying his offer. However,
I just want to know what the advantages and disadvantages of bother are
for team, xp, items, story......

I accepted his offer. Like I'm willingly going to fight *yet another* horribly powerful creature deep under the earth.
Who is he harming? No one. He's been buried so long, he's probably forgotten his own name. I just want to get back home.

Then he stops me from getting my treasure, nobody's allowed to take my treasure but me.

That's an RP reasoning, he's asking for a reasoning based off of tangible in game rewards.
Dealing is bad for party member approval. Killing him nets you his treasure trove.

I took the deal both times, first time because I was a blood mage and figured why the hell not. And second time was because I wanted to ****** Anders off to get him rival and two because the scene of Varric shooting him in the face at the end was just awesome.
On my next play I'm probably going to kill him outright since I always kill him at the end anyways. Or maybe I'll stick with the deal, all you lose out on is a few gold and a mage staff.

Thanks, I appreciate the responses! Yeah, I have pretty much decided to deny his offer and get the treasure and experience. Ill probably play through it just to see Verric shoot his face off, for those are the moments I live for in bioware games...
Anyways thanks again.

He's harming the other Profane. Ancient tormented Dwarves are people, too.Maria Caliban wrote...
