When i bought of found armor for my party members it wouldent shop up in my bag or on them

if you mean the armor upgrades it would not show in your inventory but on the equipment screen under the picture of the character there are small boxes that highlight as you collect upgrades to show what lvl upgrade you have. Also not every member looks different as you collect some of the armors, i know Varric doesn't look different except maybe until his last upgrade (which i have yet to obtain)

no they are not appearing period i cheked their armor there was no change in stats and i have the guide book so i know these are the upgrades
