In my first playthrough of DA:O I romanced Morrigan and then gave her the child at the end of the game. I played through Awakening and there was no mention of her. I then shelled out the money for Witch Hunt only to be left at another cliffhanger. I just finished my first playthrough of DA2 and the only reference to her was in a dialogue when it is mentioned that only 2 mages were needed to defeat the blight. Anyone else dissapointed we didn't get those loose ends tied up?

I hope they bring her back for DA3. I'm not convinced her story is truly over. Not after playing such a massive role in DA:O. But yeah, I'm a little bitter that we only get a mention of her in DA2.

Considering that Flemeth is in the game early on, I thought that she would have a larger part in it which would essentially ensure Morrigan in it. I was secretly hoping that the reason Flemeth needed to come to the Free Marches was to chase Morrigan and inhabit her body.

The devs have confirmed that Morrigan's story isn't over. She just wasn't in this game.

DA2 is more of a set up of what's to come. It's been hinted throughout the series that something big is about to happen. Both Morrigan and her mother are in the thick of it, so we haven't the last of her.

Sometimes I wonder if when she walked through the Eluvian she just found spikes. Lots of spikes.

i really hope bioware mans up and jsut says morrigans godbaby is canon so they can do something with it, its just to interesting to leave in the wind like that.

sure some people will whine like crazy, but its seriously such an interesting storypoint its stupid NOT to use it. plus wtf? why would you choose NOT to have a crazy demon god baby? my first thought after going through with the ritual was "man i hope i fight that baby in the next game"

I'm more worried about Sandels prophecy coming true.

I really really hope they refocus on Morrigan/Flemeth in DA3. Let's not wait several more games and a full decade to make sense out of it.

Clearly, I will be hugely disappointed if DA3 doesnt follow up with what was started in DAO. Disappointed to the point I might actually completely give up on this series.

I think it would depend on how you play. I had one playthrough where Alistair broke my mage's heart by dumping her and she tried to ask him to do the ritual but couldn't bring herself to do so. She told Alistair he couldn't join her for the final battle and threw herself on the Archdemon. >.>
That was the only playthrough where I did that though. xD It appears to be causing some confusion in the second game since the Warden is dead. (I ported it over just to see if it would be troublesome.)
Otherwise, yeah, I think the demon baby would be pretty fun to have in a game. (Eventual LI 20 years down the line? I think so.)

I did like Morrigan to an extent bug I don't really know what they could do with her at this point.

With Witch Hunt, Dark Ritual and other things they've made it so Morrigan's story can go a few too many wildly different directions to easily cover later in a game.

Huge things like the God Baby are also entirely avoidable and unlike Leliana being alive no matter what it seems that this has been for the most part acknowledged. At least in the fact that one of the default presets you can choose involves a grey warden who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Sandal: One day the magic will come back - all of it. Everyone
will be just like they were. The shadows will part and the skies will
open wide.

Bodahn: Huh? What's this?

Sandal: When he rises, everyone will see.

Bodahn: By the ancestors! What has gotten into you, my boy?

Sandal: Enchantment!

Bodahn: That's more like it!

Sandal's prophesy is about the Maker I think, it'd ruin the choice if they force the Warden to have had the baby especially if he died. (In which case, mine did.)

Also I remember the Destiny Trailer had an army of Morrigans and Flemeth leading them, I believe that is one of DA3's plotlines.
