Memes aside...
I've played through DA2 multiple times so far and I'm unimpressed with my pro-Templar build. I've searched the forums hoping to find a remedy to the situation. The only thing I've found (and failed to do on my pro-Templar play through) is check the Chanter's board.
What act do pro-Templar tasks start appearing and is there any way around aiding mages? I'm aware you have to help Orsino at the end to initiate endgame; but are there any ways to change Meredith’s overall opinion about you? I've also read that, depending on Chanter's board results, the way Meredith greets you after saving you from the saarebas differs. Something like, "Oh Hawke, I've heard about you TOO much." for apparent mage supporters and something wholly different for apparent Templar supporters.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
