This is getting frustrating...

Haven't even been able to create a character yet

I've downloaded whatever available updates pop up when you start the game up. 

CPU Specs...2.8 intel xeon quad core, 10 gigs of ram, ATI Radeon HD 2600, Snow Leopard 10.6.6

Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Well...finally made it past Character Creation screen(did it in a hurry) Now it froze just a bit after that. Wish I could figure out what's going on here.

Realize I'm talking to myself here, but feel like I should update in case other people are experiencing my problem.  This isn't a busy part of the forum anyway so I don't feel so bad

I had had anti aliasing on the highest setting...ever since I turned it back to 0 I haven't had a freeze.  This of course could be coincidence.  We shall see! 

Edit:  For the record, it also could have been the patch that fixed it...Just realized the patch hadn't completely downloaded on the other attempts.  However in the patch notes the issue I was having wasn't addressed.  So who knows...At any rate I'm currently enjoying the game with no freezes.

I had the CC crash while rotating the face, the next time I tried it, it worked fine. Maybe I just spun the head around too fast the first time...
