Where are these '******' options you speak of? There are no gay-exclusive LIs in the game because Bioware have stated that it's not feasible in terms of budget. They are all bi except for Sebastian who is straight, and only Anders and Isabela make any attempt to flirt with you before you initiate a romance. Anders flirts just once, and if you turn him down he never flirts again unless you try to romance him.

i don't understand how this thread turned to be a discussion about religion and homosexuality.

i personally think homosexuality is great i wish it would spread more, then we'll not overpopulate our world. i think that's one of gaider's ideas: to educate the teens (admit it, even though the game rated M, kids, starting from 13 at least play it) to be much more open sexually to all directions
when a 17-18 year old plays his loved game he can find many parallels to this world and tries to handle them. DA2 gives him/her a chance to try out homosexual relationships otherwise he/she may not have encountered.
however, i cannot admit that the absolute majority of bisexuals (100%) in DA2 was a bit inconvenient, as if we don't have other CHOICE. my 'straight' hawke coudn't find a partner.
the only heterosexual (chaste) relationship is for additional pay. the question is not whether the gay people can have their romance. the question is why there aren't other options?

Yep. they exploit sex. god forbid you talk about it, or post an image about it. Put that sex back into their faces and a meltdown happens. Ironic isn't t?

exploiting sex for money is an age old trick isn't it? To even see the -older- gaming community stand for it is absolutely funny. but. then again. these games aren't targeted at older gamers.

You forgot to put the word "unreasoning" in bold. It is quite important there for the meaning of the definition.

Well like 99% of the straight gamers playing DragonAge....my choice of romance was heavily restricted.

If I didn't want to chose the ****** features...I was left with a rather disrespectfull alternative for being such a biggoted straight person (totally unacceptable to Bioware )

Kid, people pay money for those games, and in their respective countries various protocol is followed to prevent children from purchasing inappropriate content.  This forum is available to everyone without any age restriction, so they delete explicit pictures and bleep naughty words.  I can't believe you don't understand how this sort of thing works yet.

I really couldn't care less about the sexual orientation of the NEW characters, not because I dont like the characters, but because I know nothing about their past.

But when it comes to Anders I just feel cheated. Nowhere in my Awakening ending did I see the story that Anders has in DA2 or Justice for that matter. It's like all my effort to gain his friendship and get him to stay with the warden never happened.

They rewrote him to fit in with the new story. I never heard him make a pass at any male character back in Awakening.

I don't mind them experimenting with different types of new characters but don't **** up older ones, I don't see the use of developing a character's story if you don't stick with it.
