Thank you, Bioware, for making a game that allows me to play out MY fantasy girl: a tough, non-sexualized queer woman with jet black hair. I'd like it if you could make people of color a more realistic possibility ('black' people look like white people with bad tans), and that you might incorporate different body sizes into the game.

Right there: 1 in 4 Democrats and 1 in 2 Republicans have a negative attitude toward gays. Doesn't mean they want to kill them all or punish somehow, but I doubt they approve of the propagation of this whole GLBT thing.

Still no indication of gaming habits.  For that Bioware relies on gaming data.

You have missed it. But as long as we are the majority it doesn't matter what they think.

This "problem" has a simple solution.

Two straight characters, two gay, two lesbian, two bisexual, and maybe a transgender character who isn't a prostitute. That way, you appeal to the majority without sacrificing variety.

If you're going to give your characters a sexuality, you might as well be fair. I do appreciate having lady-loving female party members. I would like to not have to be forced into one option, because some straight male gamers are uncomfortable with homosexuality in a VIDEO GAME.

Most sense anyone has made in this thread  yet. I absolutely hated how they almost immediatly hit you with the painfully awkward  "sorry i don't swing that way" conversation which is indeed forced on the player.

I am.. a straight male... I am comfortable in my sexuality.. I have... no problem with the gay community or whatever it is these days that people label them as..

Thanks to the constant need for the media to contstantly ram the issue down my throat!! no pun intended, the constant need to have film,tv to cater for the community by broadcasting the issue in such exaggerated tones, because the music industry constantly expresses equality even though the average man does not have an issue with it, because in an open debate if I express my views then I am homophobic (which would make a a few of my mates laugh) so now we have it in game not a problem I say if I as the player initiate it and if I don't then I should not be penalized in anyway.
What a person does in their own backyard is completly up to them (providing it breaks no laws) but I don't need an non issue thrust in my face on a constant basis because a minority thinks they are hard done by predjudiced against etc etc..

You're not comfortable simply turning someone down?  So you'd rather not see it in a game?  I'm assuming none of you have ever turned anyone down in real life, for you to be so offended that someone not of your persuasion might be coming onto you?

How utterly ridiculous can it be for you people to be going around in a game killing dozens and dozens of people (many of them bursting into a pool of blood)... Yet it's a homosexual advance that you can turn down with a click of a mouse that somehow makes you uncomfortable.

Honestly, ridiculous doesn't even begin to sum up how absurd some of you homophobes really are.

Had it happen to me a couple of times in real life. Not a big deal unless you make it one. At least they generally accept no means no.

I've noticed some people complaining about how it's morally wrong.. Isn't killing people morally wrong and yet you still play games with combat?

Homophobia is not tolerated on these forums. Maybe you feel that you have the right to feel that way. Great. It's a free world. But when you come onto this board and start sharing your opinion in an incredibly offensive way, you're breaking the TOS that you agreed to when you signed up.

Haven't even gotten past the last three pages and already bans and warnings handed out.
