Okay so half is a bit of an exageration.

When it came to fighting I chose to stand with my fellow mages and let Anders live (I just couln't kill him). All of a sudden Fenris, Sebastian, and Carver leave me. Fenris and Carver actually fight for the other side.

I honestly didn't see it coming (I should gave). Funny thing is that it really made the game more engaging for me. Much like real revolutioms this one splits friends and even families. Thankfully I didn't have to kill Carver.

Anybody else have a situation like this? If so how did you feel?

I had maxed my companion's friendships so no-one abandoned me (except Carver but he had already joined the Templars after the Deep Roads).

You can't keep both Sebastian and Anders I don't think.

I was not happy about the situation.

I killed Anders, so the only one I lost was Fenris. Unfortunately, I had to kill him.
