I overlooked picking up the third piece of Aveline's armor in Act II. Oops. I fought Jeven and hoped to get the Act III piece so that I'd at least have three upgrades for her. I defeated Jeven, but it wasn't on his body. Bummer.

Is this a glitch? Or if you miss one piece of companion armor, do you then miss all subsequent pieces?

Um, I'm not sure... I missed the second piece of hers and ended just 1 down, so I don't think so. I can't recall her pieces specifically, since it wasn't going to unlock the achievement I just went about gathering other companions armor and noticed I only missed one of hers and varric's.

Final Armor upgrade (from Favor and Fault) is not appearing. We're aware and looking in to it.

Ah, so I can stop pointlessly replaying the battle over and over again in the vain hope of breaking the glitch. My obsessiveness and I thank you for your reply.

One more bug to add to the list of shortfalls in the programming of this game. DA: 3? Until your team can prove that you can make a quality product from that get-go.....forget about getting more money from me.

I have played through this game 3 times, and each time I look on Jeven's remains as suggested by the Piggyback guide for Aveline's 4th piece of armor as shown on pages 102 and 211. Did they create the book from a special edition? Or how would one find the 4th piece of armor upgrade?

They probably got the information from Bioware themselves or got it from an early build. Most game guides are created from early builds of the games for them to be out and ready on the same day for launch of the game. So it's more than likely an early build play through they got or the info came directly from Bioware.

Only two logical explanations.
