Does anyone think that the Meredith boss fight would have been much harder and more interesting if Meredith had actually used real templar skills from the Templar tree instead of being a generic warrior who just waves her sword around in your face and summons waves of minions every now and then?

Think of how awesome it could be if she could use cleanse to remove sustainables or debuffs on her self, and silence your party with her attacks. I mean she's a templar, she should be able to do that. She should target the mages in your party by default too. It'd make the fight much harder and more interesting imo.

She can drain your mana, and seems to be immune to most debuffs and cc anyway.

From a lore standpoint however shes not really a templar anymore by this point, just a raving lunatic possessed by the power of the idol. And fighting a regular templar isn't much of an epic confontation anyways.

Yeah if she had some actual abilities the fight would have been a lot more interesting but she is falling into insanity. Hard to do stuff when you're losing your mind.

Stupid **** kept draining me and Ander's mana.
Good thing I had lots of mana pots!
I found it easy though. Her damage wasn't that brilliant.

Well the statues coming to life made the fight more interesting than I was expecting. Meredith actually reminded me a bit of Sephiroth in that last battle, just much less scary.
