She only give a friendly thank you kiss to FemHawke* in the Long Road quest and you need to pick the right dialog choice for that, from what I understand.

* I haven't seen one person say that their MaleHawke got the thank you kiss.

I must strive to get this on my next playthrough. :3 I suppose my current LadyHawke didn't get a kiss cause while I did choose the flirt options, when she asked if I ever thought about us together I chose the 'How Grey Wardens feel about the Blight' option and got Rivalry points. Well *I* thought Hawke's line was sweet anyway...

I got the kiss and I did not choose any flirt options.

I think it's like an "I'm so happy I could kiss you!" moment, and she does.

I think you get it if you choose the diplomatic option and not the sarcasm one in that convo.

I received the kiss while nearly max rivalry as well. Made it all the more interesting when she kicked me to the ground and knocked me upside the head after this.

Yeah, she's like...amused/surprised...and a bit derpy looking.

I got the kiss in my second pt and not my first...not sure what I did differently.  I did flirt with her once in the 2nd pt, but not sure if that's the reason.

Hah I thought it was on the cheek but this thread made me second guess myself. It's clearly a peck on the cheek in that video.

From the angle you can't really tell if it is a peck on the lips or a peck on the cheek. Either way it is just a peck. The context of the scene is pretty obviously "You fixed my life so that I can finally be happy again, which I was unable to do myself. You are a true friend and so I will let down the mask of hardened warrior that I keep up just for a moment to show you how much utter joy your help has brought me."

There wasn't anything to read into it, imo.
