I just completed the game and is considering my second playtrue as there are no more DL for me a I have bought all there is... However, I checked up the wiki to update myself on stuff (mainly the Merrill bugg) and discovered this companion called "Fenris".
I was like, WTF! I did basically every single quest in the game, with maybe a few exceptions on the end where the story got to exciting to get sidetracked but still... I can't believed I missed a complete companion.
Where does this guy show up?
Fenris who?

Ah great, the 1 out of 2 quests I did'nt do on principle... If your a good guy you would never get involved in quests like this... Rather strange this Fenris fellow was attatched to sutch a branded quest. Well, unless he is a bad guy, but I can't really tell yet, now can I?

I missed him for the same reason you did my first playthrough, that I was a 'good guy' but you learn there's more behind the quest than smuggled lyrium (which is just the 'bait' to the switch).

The true nature of that quest will be revealed only if you do it.
Anyway, Fenris is too interesting companion to miss.

Yarrr... So that's the way they do it, eh? You get close up to a guy who outright admit to be smuggling illegal wares with high risks, and no brains, which was... "Oh wait, actually I am sending you out to save kittens". Christ the bad characters will surly kill him on return for smearing their reputation.

Anso isn't hiring a paragon of virtue - if he was, would he be at night in lowtown? Thus it makes sense for him to use the "smuggling illegal goods" cover story.
Even a good character might do this quest, perhaps with the intent of turning the goods to the authorities.
