LupusYondergirl, love your stories. Can't wait to see what you do with DA II, but finish AOA for the love of the Maker! I await your next chapter eagerly. (Blue Skies as well)

I only recently had started wrok on my DA:O fanfic, and have had to put it on hold thanks to DA II. I can't decide how exactly I want my stories to overlap, or if I should place my hawke in a seperate story. So for now my MAss Effect fic is my focus.

And I will finish both of them! Between work and my, um, nonstop playing of video games I haven't written much lately... of anything. (you know, for as many times as I'd been through DA2 already you'd think I'd have tried the Fenris romance. But no...
Needless to say, my DA2 fic would have to be pretty separate from my DAO fic. Otherwise I suspect poor Malina Hawke will find herself boiled alive from the inside out by a jealous wife in a fit of rage. Maggie's inappropriately territorial on the best of days. And she's got to be a level 50 mage or so by now, since she's pushing 40.
I think I've figured out a way to have my DA2 fic fit into the Stone and Sky universe, though.
I'm in "kid with a new shiny toy" mode now. I fully admit it.

I totally understand, although I am only on my second DA 2 playthrough. As a mage purist, I couldn't stand Fenris, his whole "Mages are Evil" bit just drove poor Evalyn Hawke up a wall. I am currently rewriting my DA:O fic to fit the DA 2 story in, although I can't figure out a plausible reason to have Anders leave my Warden. I just don't accept the whole "The Warden made me get rid of Ser Pounce-a-lot" plot since Daevyn Surana would never do such a thing.
Maybe once Anders decides to join with Justice he can just ask my Warden to be released from the order, since my Warden would never hold someone in the order like Anders made it sound in DA II.
Oh well, more complications and I already write too slowly for my taste.
EDIT: Oooh, I wonder if you'll ever try a "side with the Templars" playthrough? Every time I think about it I decide I just can't... the plight of mages just touches me somewhere I guess.

Moira GAVE him Ser Pounce, she'd never make him get rid of him!
I actually had to think long and hard about why a mage would end up with Fenris. That being said, plot bunnies have invaded my brain. But nothing any more concrete than what I've already written.

Not really helping Aeryn-Sun, I can't post my DA2 HawkexMerrill story what-so-ever due to that error. T.T what went wrong? have I been banned from publishing my stories or sumthin?
The site is having issues. In order to post you have to use a workaround. Here is a link that should help.

Rumor has it that this error type 2 thingy should be fixed soon.

I've been writing a DA2 story about the whole party (minus sibling and Sebastian) playing a game of Diamondback. Basically, Varric thinks Hawke has a good "Diamondback Face" and suggests she come to the next game. Little does he know that she's never played before and is too proud to say so. Besides creating the most simplitic envisioning of Diamondback that will likely ever grace fanfic, it's *really* hard for me to find ways to make the characters unique when they're all silent and concentrating on the game.
I also have another DA2 story that's actually finished, but FF.net is still buggy.

I don't think I'll do a Templar run for a long time. I've spent WWWAAAAYYYY too much time on the Mage side.
I couldn't resist, I had to start my DA2 fic. Leap
That's how I felt.
Curse you for posting that. As much as I love it I now can't get the ideas for my DA II fic out of my head. (Goes to pray for deliverence from fanfiction addiction)

I'm doing a Templar run now. It is somehow easier to imagine siding with the Templars when my Hawke is a **** to *everyone*. She has Varric rivalry. Varric. Rivalry. I didn't even think this was PLAUSIBLE, let alone possible.
And manymanymany omgsquees for Malcolm Hawke! This man has somehow managed to become a superhero in my headcanon, and I love how you're writing him! X3

If I wasn't occupying my time with recolouring the champion armour into all colours of the rainbow, I think I'd be assaulting everyone's delicate sensibilities with The Grand Misadventures of Malcolm Hawke... You do not want. XD
