bad enough you cut so many corners but you seriously couldn't come up with something else to corrupt that psychopath other then a sword...that looks virtually identicle to the coveted "soul calibur" out of said games.

it's not whether it's been used before..it's that the very sword looks almost IDENTICAL to it.

and not only that but I love the semblance of "choice"

I believe you are thinking of Soul Edge, the big demonic blade that corrupts people's minds.

Soul Calibur is the opposite. a force of good that is usually in the form of a one handed shortsword.
