I think I'd get tired of the French accents but if part of the game takes place in orlais, that's fine for me.

I want my Warden back, I liked him more than Hawke: But I still want Hawke to take part in the game. It would tie the first two storys togheter and make the third game epic for me! : )

If the Warden returns I want him/her to have a cameo where he/she doesn't talk. For instance, seeing the Warden in a fight.

I wouldn't mind if the warden had a voice, especially if it was the voice from the Sacred Ashes Trailer.

OP, you're also forgetting Morrigan and how she fits into all of these events.

I'm wondering what happened to the Warden if he/she was king/queen. If they're missing, who is ruling Ferelden?

The Warden's spouse?

Most likely, Anora. The only way that wouldn't be a possibility would be if Alistair married a Cousland.

I am pretty sure at the end of DA2 they quit searching for Hawke and the Warden.

So... yeah.

If male, Anora. If female, Alistair.

Sounds like DA3 has the potential to be fairly far reaching. I wish them the best in bringing this together. I would love travelling the length of Thedas..

Heck i´m still waiting for the return of Revan.

In my mind even a mention of the warden or hawke and what they did after the games would be a luxury and i dont know how well it would go over with the community, "their" pc doing something they did not choose but the writers did.

Therre would need to be a common goal/reason for them to be brought together I think and for it to be big enough and bad enough to unite all the nations. So maybe the Seekers know something that no one else does and they are trying to prepare for some upcoming conflict or issue that they will need the Champion and the Hero of Ferelden for.

I would love to see an exalted march led by Flemeth (Andraste?) to undo the Chantry (perversion of belief of the Maker and Andraste?). With her generals Hawke and the Warden (the two people Flemeth helped) Just my speculation.

As far as Merril's mirror goes, I believe she shatters it after the keeper dies

Also, Sandal is the main source of information for what is to come, he talks about magic returning to everyone and some strange stuff about the sky opening up when "he returns"

coupled with the fact that he also talks about a scary lady with a scary laugh that enters his room at night (which could really only be flemeth) perhaps he plays a bigger role than we thought

I think that the "he" in the "he returns" part of sandal's prophecy is the old god baby raised by morrigan

Cassandra will probably return along with leliana, MAYBE Hawke will make an appearance, but I highly doubt the Warden will. you never know

I am somewhat torn about seeing the Warden and the Champion together. I just finished my first play through as a female rogue Champion. I used my DAO save of my female Dalish rogue.

But in DA2 the Champion slaughtered all the Warden's Dalish clan! How can they possible work together after that? Yikes.

I'm rather curious about Leliana's reaction to the brief meeting between Hawke and her.

Rather, if you romanced Leliana in Origins it *seems*, by her words, that the relationship didn't last. While I can understand why it wouldn't, that the break up/reason for it not being mentioned jarred me fiercely.

Just so I know I'm not screwing something up here, does Leliana mention to anyone something that even remotely suggests she and the Warden (Provided she was romanced) remain romantically involved?

The old god baby could only exist though if the Dark Ritual was performed. Even though it would be such a good story line I know i would be (and most likely others) would be annoyed that Bioware didn't take into consideration the choice... but then again Leliana is back and there was the option that she died unless she somehow survived decapitation... : /

Warden: You killed my clan!

Hawke: ... it's all Merril's fault. She controlled me with blood magic!

Merril:. Yes.. wait, what?

Warden : MERRIL!!

Hawke: B)

The seekers are looking for both because together the warden and hawke has power to end the mage/templar rebellion while stopping an even greater danger to ferelden. Honestly i cant wait for DA:3 to come out but at the same time for me it would be such a let down to not choose and play either one of my favorite characters Hawke or the Warden both working together or in their own storyline to bring ferelden together to face an impending danger.

For what it's worth, she uses the present tense:" Yes, I knew the Hero of Ferelden. He/She is ... dear to my heart." They might be physically separated due to extenuating circumstances and not because they broke up. I doubt the writers intend to dwell much on this.

Honestly, I won't be surprised if this whole "where are the Hero of Ferelden and the Champion of Kirkwall?" thing turns out to be a huge red herring. Something to drum up interest in the interval between DA2  and DA3. It's more likely that Hawke or a new protagonist will be the player-character in DA3 while the Warden gets mentioned a few times, and won't been seen or heard.
