I start Act 2, and in the diary there isn't the conversation quest "Consoling Words". I tried to go to Merrill's Hut and see if the quest triggered, but she doesn't say nothing. Any hint?

Precede along the plot some. The companion quests seem to trigger after a number of quests have been done. I had to start another quest to get my companions to have the start of act talks.
