lol, no. It's in fact a lot more like the computer control scheme from Minority Report.
EDIT: That game does seem like a ripoff, btw. The tech involved is completely different though. Also, I doubt the game was actually ripped off, seeing as in the video you showed there was no actual gameplay on the PS2

To be honest, I really did not care. It didn't wow me at all. Maybe that's because I have a lot of experience with new high tech stuff, and I knew this was coming anyway.

My hopes aren't sky high up there for new technological marvels but I'd like to be surprised for once.
I think the fundamental underlying factor in Natal is different from Eyetoy; like it has to do with the computer algorithm interpreting movement differently or something. Since I don't have a 360 I'm shrugging it off.

I'm not saying it is, I am just asking what other people think. I personally think the technology seems similar from the video, but I don't know everything about the PS2 Eyetoy or Project Natal.
When I first say the article, I thought it was PS3 fanbois trying to
downplay Project Natal. Then I watched the video, and though I dunno.

I think the PS2 Eyetoy is like the games that came with my first ever Webcam. That was in the late 90's early 00 I think. There was a basketball game, a bubble popping game and a karate chopping game. Unfortunately if you look hard enough, everything original was already invented somewhere along the line. Even this very post someone else has probably already written, and the inevitable flame coming has already been commented elsewhere.
