I played 1st time as a preset Hawke, but now that i try to customize my appearence, all options are faded out, not selectable (except of presets). Why is that?
Not able to customize appearence.

The two 'vanilla hawke' presets aren't customizeable in the character creation screen either, so that's probably why you can't customize them later on in the mirror either.
For some reason Bioware refuse to let us modify 'their' hawke version. I don;t know why this is, but perhaps they've used a custom face model or something else that's not possible with the default customization system and it was too much effort to make it work with the regular customization system...
If it IS possible though, then I would expect to see a mod for it pretty soon on dragonagenexus..
