Sword, what sword Image IPB

Image IPB

PC: Alistair, have you seen any swords?
Alistair: Swords? Nope, can't say i have.
Morrigan: 'Tis dumb even for you Alistair, there's one on your back.
Alistair: What, that? Only an ignorant swamp witch would think that's a sword. It's a cheese knife, and a fine one, too.

A sword of truthiness! Awesome work you're doing so far. LOL, Alistair, why are you wearing Tevinter robes?

In any case, splendind job tmp!
Was just wondering(might just be the angle though) if the sword uses the vanilla or your "resized" shape?

It's scaled down 10% to match the other resized swords.

I see.. :)
Any possibility for an optional version with the vanilla shape too? But of course, if it's too much hassle it's not needed.;)

It'll be regular size by default. The resized version will probably be optional file dropped in the override folder.

Got it all working, even though the helmet seems to be missing?

Also, the sword seems to be quite blurry in the cutscenes as opposed to the armor.:o

Didn't include the helmet because lol, helmets. The Griffon's Helm seems to be more fitting, anyway ;p

In the regular cutscenes the swords tend to be placed right past the point where the depth of field ends, which renders them blurrier, yes. As far as i can tell it's pretty universal, though. Not really related to this particular model.

Ah well... that's unfortunate. I am having a hard time finding a suitable (and textured) helmet model for this one
(was also planning a complete Warden's Calling set trailer retext but oh well..)

But good job nonetheless!

Sorry about that; the trailer warden generally doesn't wear helmet save for some brief sequence and with the game removing them in cutscenes i don't really equip them on most characters, so it didn't seem like something important. I may look at it at some later point and maybe add it then.

*rubs eyes*

Do... do you know what you've done?

You've actually made armour which looks great on dwarven women. I didn't even think that was possible.

Ah okay. Well it's not much of a big deal, but I would appreciate if there would be a *slight* chance for the helmet too.

Thanks for the armours, they're quite sexy! :3 A request -- could you make Qunari-size at some point? I really, really want to equip that armour on Canus at some point. :o

Im just wandering can we use dragon age 2 retextures on the wardens armour? or would it have to be re textured in a different way?

You can, ish, though you'll need to extract the texture files (the .dds ones) out of the .erf that whatever retexture mod you're using provides and put them in the override folder.

The one I tried had the effect of making the armour ridiculously shiny compared to normal, but didn't recolour the tabard-thing. So, ish.

You can reduce how shiny the reskinned armour gets by taking the extracted texture with "_0s" in its name into a graphics program and reducing the brightness of the image there.

I used pyGFF editor myself, for no specific reason than because I had it downloaded already, and it worked when I tried. File > Export > select the .erf, tick the ones to extract.

Also, because it needs to be said: The description on the boots is perfect. Stomp stomp.
