Bonus points for allowing Hawke to brand the little bastard's forehead him/herself.

I think we need a punch a templar mod much more.
While I agree that the templars need the punching more, I think we don't actually need mods for that

Yeah. you're already killing by the dozens but Osama Bin Anders really needs to get his lights knocked out and set straight. I was even more pissed off that it was made so regardless of what you do he remodels the city skyline anyway. I loved him in Awakening but in this you really can't start a relationship with him without feeling like you're an accessory to murder. Ladies really got the short end of the stick with this one. They made attractive partners but one's a terrorist, one's a former slave with in need of some Zoloft, and one gave up girls before you met him.

You know, I only felt betrayed because he didn't tell me. I thought we had no secrets
Though it was somewhat flattering, to have him tell me that he (rightfully) feared I'd help him if I knew.

I caught on to the plot with the initial conversation when he said "Boom! No more Justice." I asked him 20 questions and he slipped out of answering them and then I told him I'd do as he asked but he should remember he emotionally blackmailed me into doing it. I knew what he was doing but in the end I figured my consciouness would survive as long as my bedrool was warm that night.

Well, it's not like the female LIs were any better.
- Yet another of Bioware's nerd bait "cute clumsy girls", this one naive to the point of being a danger to self and others.
- Funny, yet utterly promiscuous woman of loose morals. Also with STDs. More like a drinking pal or a drunken tryst than a serious love interest.
Its too bad Aveline is immune to Hawke's clumsy advances... And that Bethany is our sister.

Seriously they should have given both genders Varric and be done with it. My condolences to the male players that could knock boots with Garrus.
Oh come now, Fenris was interesting, Anders was nice and Merrill is oficially the cutest romance in the history of gaming, bi or not

Not as bad as Morrigan though I'll grant them, at least these have a backstory that legitamises their beliefs and their reactions to your actions. Morrigan seemed to just revel in being wrong and contrarian to the point of total moral bankruptcy. Not even that to be honest, she didn't seem to have consistency like Anders and Fenris do; whatever was the bad choice no matter the context was what Morrigan liked.

Merrill is basically the girl that keeps going back to the abusive husband convinced he'll change. Fenris sits in a empty house and broods about the fact he's free. Anders is, let's face it, a terrorist. It does us no good to kid ourselves. If this was the real world none of them would be a realistic partner.

If this was not only the real world, but I was also in Alaytha Hawkes position, I'd try to talk some sense into fenris. I also wasn't the slightest bit abusive towards Merill (and I'll protect her from the demons

Although in my mind it involves my Warden swooping in, kicking him in the face and then forcing him to make one sarcastic comment for the sake of old times before she disappears into wherever she has ended up.
Everyone else would just stand around looking confused. I would be happy.

I also wasn't the slightest bit abusive towards Merill (and I'll protect her from the demons), and Anders isn't so much a terrorist, as he's a freedom fighter, seeing how I grew up hearing stories from my dad on how terrible the circle was, and nothing I've seen so far convinced me he exaggerated?
No, I mean her relationship with blood magic. "Oh, it'll never goh wrong. I know what I'm dewing." And if this was the real world Anders would have gotten a Champion gauntlet in his jaw.
