So I was tweaking Sebastion's and Isabella's tactics and can't figure out how to set Deadly Strike/ Archer finish chain move? Is there a trick?
Anyway to have companions finish chains?

which move? Deadly Strike is in Origins not DA 2.
You have to be more specific.
If you're talking about having a brittle target, then:
Enemy: Brittle | use ability Archer's Lance
If you're talking about Unforgiving Chain you have to figure out when you want them to do it.
Target of Isabella: set next condition
Enemy hp 50% | use ability Explosive Strike
Unforgiving Chain carries over from 1 creature to the next, so you can just auto attack one while having them hit a higher target with the Explosive Strike.

No, there isn't.
The best you can do is have them only auto attack and use their finisher skills, and whatever chain they can build while those skills are on cooldown is the best they will do by themselves. Of course that means forfeiting their other abilities without manual intervention. You might be able to cludge something together with some advanced tactics, but last I heard some of those weren't working properly (eg: jump to tactic, etc)
