 I'm aware that a number of users are having this problem over on the PC side, but I've yet to find anyone else with a mac having the problem. I activated the game just fine, no problems at all. Once in game, however, I get a message saying "unable to connect to the Dragon Age servers" and thus have no access to the DLC. I can play the game fine, but I'd really like to get my hands on the numerous bonus items, some of which (like Fadeshear and Lion of Orlais) I actually paid extra for. So.... any suggestions, folks? I'm on a MacBook Pro (if that matters, which I doubt.) Probably more relevant is the fact that I'm on a university internet connection and therefore have little or no control over the potential firewalls in place.

I just had an unbelievably unhelpful conversation with an EA employee who tried to tell me that the issue was that I was running too many background programs, or to update my OS, or to disconnect external devices and put them back in one by one. Sigh.

Anyone from Bioware who reads this, I'd really appreciate some help. The issue with using the official EA support is that 1) they've never actually played the game, and so have no idea what the real issue is, and 2) responses that are copy-pasted from some general "how to solve problems with games on a mac" are infinitely less useful than responses which actually take the specifics of the situation into account.

I'm having the same problem. It'll say that I've downloaded stuff but nothing appears in game, probably because I can't connect

mine says "update paused" and i cnt unpause it..plus its paused on 100percent and will not start up weither i go online or even offline mode...

I can't connect to the servers either - really annoying... is there a way to manually download the DLC?

I can't login either, it says something along the lines of:

Unable to connect to the Dragon Age II server. Please enter your email address and password correctly.

Well, I know for a fact that the second sentence is accounted for, I can login perfectly on this website, EA and Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2, so it narrows the problem down somewhat, no? Also having major issues with Dragon Age: Origins, everyone playing that has. All content has become unauthorised. The help option isn't a help option - at all, it tells me that logging in gives me access to DLC...

This is rather annoying as I too have paid for DLC but can't access it.

Same issue, I just installed it on my MacPro and it says servers temporary unavailable. Does anyone have a solution to fix this ?
