When I sided with the mages on my first playthrough, Fenris attacked me and I was forced to kill him. I'd really like to try and keep as many alive as possible in my second game, so I was wondering... Did he turn on me because I didn't max out his rivalry or was it because he wasn't my friend? Is there any way to not kill my friends even if I side with the mages and let Anders live?

Also, is there a way to max friendship/rivalry with everyone in your party? The only way to get points is to bring them with you to quests, right?

If you say "You do realize you're supporting slavery" he promptly rejoins you.

I've been wondering, once you get a character to 100%, is it permanent? Because I never noticed much (any) meter changing going on after I got my group to 100%.

Yeah, when you get 100 friendship or rivalry, the meter locks itself.

Does Fenris need to have 100 F/R to rejoin you, or can it be a bit less?

It can be less. I almost never used him on my first playthrough, so his friendship/rivalry meter hadn't changed much, and he still came back over to my side when I said that to him

He won't leave you in the first place if you have 100 F/R.

Thanks. I'll try it on my current run. Despite the way we're constantly at each other's throats, I'd rather not kill him.
