Would love to see an update to this and the rogue guide as well if you've got the time and inclination. Will completely understand if you don't though. Thank you very much for the work you and others have done so far--it took out some of my earlier frustrations with playing the game. It's always nice to be able to stand on the shoulders of giants, even if it is just for a patch or two.

Hey I'm doing a playthrough right now based off your berserker build and it's the most fun I've had with combat yet.

So any updates you felt like doing would be awesome.  If not then thank you for making this guide in the first place.

I would very much love for you to update this guide. I've completed 3 playthroughs with all the three classes. And with all the plot fixes, I am tempted to play the game again. Furthermore, there are gonna be new players that will play this game eventually when prices are down...

2-H warrior has always been a favorite class of mine (my canon Warden and Hawke are 2-H warriors). This Berserker/Reaver guide is a hell of a built and made my first playthrough on Hard very enjoyable. I had initially planned to replay my canon playthrough on Nightmare and an updated version of this guide will be very, very much appreciated

I was tempted to start a new thread about 2-H warrior post patch 1.03, about how viable they are atm and how their skill changes affect gameplay. And I couldn't think of a better person than you, my favorite guide writer on this forum to say your thoughts on it. A lot of your posts in other threads indicate so much frustration which I understand so if you don't feel like doing an update, I will respect it

And like all the posters above, maybe you don't realize how much you had been a big help to the players here in this section of the forum but allow me to say that... you sir are awesome And I look out for your posts

P.S: Also' I've been hearing a lot about *cringe* Sunder bug... I wonder if it is a PC only bug (since I've heard it only from the PC users) or it's across all the platforms?

There are threads going about in the pc and xbox tech help forums so it looks like it's across platforms *shakes fist at unidentifiable scape goat*

Berserker is really powerful.

I just use it to explode at the right moment with Adrenaline and then murder a whole mob or set of a CCC.
With a powerful S&S build I can tank and then for a bit go DPS on everything.

For a while that is some high damage that is being done.

My Warrior Hawke switched to a rough approximation of your build halfway through Act 1 and I love it. I picked her up again and finished Act 2 post-patch and didn't really notice much difference, but I would really appreciate an update. This build is friggin awesome.

Have you experimented much with aura of pain? I think it's main purpose is to keep your health low enough to receive the damage benefit which might work really well with your build.

If your stamina is at 300 or so and you run might and aura of pain you would have a remaining stamina pool of 210 which would provide you with constantly increasing damage benefit + using a sacrificial frenzy would increase it further. And the additional 32 % damage increase from berserk vs. The original 45% and a much slower rate of inversely proportionate health : damage. It seems like the drop would be minimal and the mobs don't seem to last long enough to damage you anyway...

Aura of Pain questions : with the upgrade how much Health and at what percentages does the aura change? Does it level off at 50% dropping of completely? Does it cause friendly fire damage? Does blood frenzy work like berserk, basing damage increase on base damage only?

Arelex, I know you dont play much anymore, but I've been watching your videos. I see that you swap between SnS and 2H alot, could you consider one better then the other?

there are times when sns is better, i.e when an enemy is weak to nature and spirit, and there are times when 2h is better...or at least there WERE.

i really, really, REALLY hope they do not consider this patch a success, it's absolutely horrible.

i don't even care any more. at first, i was completely furious, but now? ehh, whatever.

what they NEED to do is balance the game from the top down, NOT around normal. did you know that they nerfed warrior because people who played on NORMAL were complaining that it was TOO EASY? what the hell?

balancing the game around the hardest difficulty and working your way down should make for a better, more rewarding experience for EVERYONE, not just the people who play nightmare.

just look at the amount of knowledgeable, good players that this patch ruined the game for:

look around the forums, and see how we're all of the same opinions about it. look and see how we suggest ways to FIX this mess, that will most definitely go ignored, as they throw intelligent design and balance to the wind to appease the normal players. i understand that they are the vast majority. believe me, i get that, but they went around making the game a better experience for them in the COMPLETE wrong way.

I personally have used all three of your DAll guides extensively and would love to see you update them, though I completely understand if you don't feel up to it. Thank you for all your hardwork so far, you have made a terrible game bearable.

Also since i've read that you guys are mostly done posting about DAll, i'd like to give just as much thanks to MrAFK, Suicidalbaby and JackNader among others for all their guides, videos and posts that have made DAll even more fun and enjoyable for me.

Given more time I would have liked to add my attemps at speed runs on nightmare to the collection, for laughs or atleast to allievate MrAFK's title as the worst player

EDIT: Off topic, but is anyone getting Dungeon Siege lll next week? It would be cool to get some guys to play with before it ships, my GT is my username feel free to add me.

Isn't 2H still much better at early levels + at level 17-23 or so because the DLC 2H are so damn strong (if unelementals)?

Well ... installing the patch is optional. Why not lead a group playing without 1.03 called "The Unpatched" - ask Bioware for a separate forum (ha!) - you have enough followers.
