Don't FORGET to back up your save!!!


1) Put Your Weapon(s), Armor(s), or Accessory(s) to backpack and save
your game (I suggest putting all other items you don't wish to edit in
storage)


2) Open Your saved game with GFF editor. (your saved game name ending with .das)

3) Drop down/ expand the menu from curent number "0"


4) Drop down/ expand menu "SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST"


5) Drop down/ expand menu from line "SAVEGAME_BACKPACK"


6) Identify Your item. Open down line with Your item.


7) Open down menu "ITEM_PROPERTIES"


8) Add a new line string, select the line and type the value of the attribute you wish to endow your item with (initally sets as "0")


here are some of the codes:
1100 - (passive): Property - health
1101 - (passive): Property - mana
1102 - (passive): Property - attack
1103 - (passive): Property - defense
1104 - (passive): Property - stamina
1105 - (passive): Property - critical chance
1106 - (passive): Property - damage factor - critical
1114 - (passive): +% Fire Damage
1115 - (passive): +% Cold Damage
1116 - (passive): +% Electricity Damage
1117 - (passive): +% Nature Damage
2000 - (On-Hit): Damage - Physical
2001 - (On-Hit): Damage - Physical (AOE)
2002 - (On-Hit): Damage - Fire
2003 - (On-Hit): Damage - Fire (AOE)
2004 - (On-Hit): Damage - Cold
2005 - (On-Hit): Damage - Cold (AOE)
2006 - (On-Hit): Damage - Electricity

9000 to 9004 - (Passive): Not in order, Immunity to Stun, Immunity to Knockback, Flanking, Immunity to Critical Hits


9) Click save button and You will see new value.


10) Collapse "ITEM _PROPERTIES". Select the next tree "ITEM_PROPERTY_POWERS" and expand. This tree is responsible for how many times the program will multiply the attribute code and is quite useful for sockets since 3 is the best value. 1065353216 = once, 1073741824 = twice, "1077936128" = thrice, "1082130432" = quadruple. Best for passive attributes such as armor [5505] as this will multiply your armor's armor value by 4 if aligned with 1082130432 but could also be used to multiply your weapons DPS value. 

So again, ADD another line and fix it with a corresponding value you'd like


11) Do the same for the other 2 trees "ITEM_PROPERTY_EFFECTID" and "ITEM_PROPERTY_VFXID". Value must be -1.



12) Go to "File" -> "Save as" and select your savegame and overwrite it.



A few things to Note:

The item LEVEL is at index number 16238 (above
SAVEGAME_OBJECT_PLOT) for each item. What that figure does is grow all
stats in ITEM_PROPERTY_POWERS by a factor. I advise putting in 50 as this is the maximum level attainable by character in game. Though you may opt to up the ante by placing in 100 as the item level, 200 even.


The attributes you set will not arrange in game according to the value patterns you set in item properties. The game has a way of arranging the attributes in heirarchy. If you would like to know specific attribute values, you'd have to manually search it yourself by process of elimination.
