I romanced Anders with my fem-Mage, and I heard with Sebastian you don't even get to kiss him or nothing.
Can any one tell me if all other LI is the same routine? I thought at least Isabella should have something special to look at.

Seriously. We know what happens after the screen fades. Watching digital characters having sex is just...awkward.

I'm just kind of disappointed with DA2.....

Mass Effect 2 and DA:O we get to see some skin. Now it's just Kiss... 2 people fall in bed, camera move back, fade to black.... and cut, we're good and back to normal. I mean, in DA:O I even get to see Loghain and Morrigan make out.

Sebastian is chaste, so no. I haven't seen a video of the end of their romance though, only the let's join the Chantry together...yay...and the I'll be Prince and you can Vicountess..
Fenris' involved shoving and snogging and that made me happy. Anders is creepy...why would you? To each his/her own I guess.

I actually thought the sex scenes in DA:O were more tasteful, deep, and meaningful than the scenes in DA2.

So for those suggesting go to the web to get porn - get off your high horse and put your tissue away, because you're missing the point.
That said, the romance with Isabella is actually pretty cool. There's no nudity, but you get a sense of passion when it happens.

Plus, you often get an after-scene of Hawke and the companion at the end which often sums up the emotions whether they be good or bad.

This is an area where the Dragon Age team does not excel. The DA love scenes on Origins and 2 are pretty weak. I did like some of the make out options in Origins, but the actual love scenes were awkward because of poor animations and bewildering undergarments.
I hesitate to say this, but it seems almost like the Dragon Age romances are written and produced by virgins who read a lot of romance novels.

I'm not bothered by it though, I just find it amusing.

But I do love the whole "you hit people so hard that they explode in a rain of blood.. You see your mother pieced together from bodyparts.. You have the possibility to kill a child.. But nudity, that's where we draw the line.."

I don't see the appeal of polygon sex scenes..
I don't understand that mentality. Erotic art has been a part of human civilization since forever, digital art is no different. Naughty medieval woodcuts and massive temple statutes of explicit hanky-panky... we're humans, and we like sex. Nothing wrong with it.

Sex is good, I just don't like seeing polygon meshes getting it on. Not condemning it, just does not appeal to me.
That said I don't get why Bioware has all that violence but is afraid of showing some digital nipples.

Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age 2 did a nice enough job of personalizing every scene for the character, and not just a copy and paste scenario like before.

I'm not sure why these were toned down. I suppose they were on a time crunch and concerned about veering into cheesy vulgar territory so they erred on the side of caution and faded out a la fable.

I agree that ME1 had the best love scene of any BioWare game. The ME2 scenes were quite good.

Thanks
Anyways, maybe it's the way I put it in my OP. it's not about seeing more explicit sex, but rather a more intiment moment with my character and LI. I assume people who play this game are all over 18, then sex shouldn't be a taboo. I think Mass Effect series did a really good job with pre-rendered scenes. I just hope we could have more of those in DA games.

Hmm the only game I seen that wasn't PG-13 in that area was that mexican guy in RDR. And that was one thing I wish I never saw, for now on when I hear VIVA LA MEXICO, I'll be unable to take who says that serriously.
I know exactly what you mean....LOL I was in shock when I saw that...

Already done, alas only in the form of (really) bad photoshops so far
I must say the DA2 scenes are better than Origins one, no dry humping in ugly undewear no more
