Best "romance" scene is from Heavy Rain...very well done. Take a note Bioware!
So many scenes in Heavy Rain were beautifully set up. The sex scene was well done without making it feel awkward.

I agree. Though I don't think BioWare lacks the spine to stand against Fox, I think it's EA execs drawing the line there. I can understand not wanting full frontal nudity, but even that is something relatively new. As the "Age of Information" provides more power to the people, it also provides more power to the narrow-minded fools who wants to shut down anything they don't agree with, and "controversiality" slinks into the shadows. It is a petty, really, even the ancient greeks had nudity and sex in art, and that's thousands of years ago. As far as recorded history shows, the Catholic church was the first instance to clamp down on nudity in art, often ransacking peoples homes, looking for "heretic elements". It's done in the name of civility, but I don't see anything civil in denying vital parts of human nature.ToJKa1 wrote...
I must say the DA2 scenes are better than Origins one, no dry humping in ugly undewear no moreToo bad they don't have the spine to make them ME1 style anymore, damn you sensatianolist propaganda network aka Fox News!

Also, sensationalism destroys journalism, and is the reason I'm more and more discouraged to read the news every day. It's no longer about "what is important for the world to know".

And come on people, you, me and the entire bioware design team for DA2 know that there is just going to be a mod for this.

What? You're making that up. High medieval religious art is sometimes very sensual, for one thing.Thomas Andresen wrote...

Great. Just great. Now the next time I see my Hawke making out with Fenris I'm now going to imagine VARRIC NARRATING IT.
I hate you. You put this thought in my mind!

You know, there was someone here earlier who actually brought this up first.

That was striking, TBH. Dalish ladies use corsets?
I reckon she bought that specially.

Speak for yourself. Fenris' scenes are all smoking hot.ad1dash0lm3s wrote...
Bioware needs one good sex scene next Dragon Age, everyone has been pretty stupid except or Isabella's so far.

It is a bit odd that games can get combat motions (even somewhat ridiculous or physically impossible ones) to look very fluid and 'believable' to our eyes, but sex scenes tend to look...odd, and awkward. It gets into uncanny valley territory, or something. The scenes in DA:O weren't terrible for what they were, but they were about as erotic as banging two Lego minifigures together. So for that reason I'm ok with the 'fade to black' scenes in DA2.
If we're old enough to be playing DA2, we're old enough to know what happens when the lights go out without needing a diagram.
