Because the OP wants everyone else to pile on to DA2 and is using this thread to try to make another of his points? That's my guess. I'd say KotOR 2, but that Obsidian made that one (oh well). I'll go wtih NWN because long-term, it was the least memorable BW game that I played. I enjoyed it, so I didn't think it was bad or anything. I just didn't have much of an emotional connection to it.

ME2 and DA2 are definitely up there sadly, the potential is there but noone can fight a EA deadline and come out decently.

No, definitely not. It's certainly not what I want the game to be, but it's still an ok game. The worst BioWare game for me is ME2 (though I played it only briefly on a friend's computer. Hated the shooter-style combat).

My last comment on this put simply is: there are better things to waste ones time occupying than complaining about things you didnt enjoy without any reasoning behind what you didnt like and what you'd like to see improove.

Its a shame some people wont quite appriciate those facts.

Two posts by you complaining about complaining. If you can't even take you own advice why would anyone else?

For storyline appeal, I would say NWN and Baldur's Gate. Though the player created modules for NWN more than made up for it, making it one of the best RPGs ever. ;p

To answer OP, no, it isn't the worst Bioware game I've ever played. NWN and JE bored me much more than DA2.

It's the second-best BioWare game I've played, actually. I think Neverwinter Nights or Mass Effect would be the worst. BGII is the best. Huh, now I need to make a list:

It's a toss up between DA2 and Jade Empire for me. Jade Empire's story was, for me, more epic. DA2 expressed what story it had more effectively. Jade Empire's gameplay was terrible. DA2's gameplay is decent. Pretty much a wash. I'll throw NWN in there because while the mechanics were great, the stock campaign was a little meh. They made up for it with the toolset though. Loved that community.

I've played NWN, KOTOR, DA:O, DA2, ME1 and ME2
I played half an hour of NWN and hated it.............
So if we aren't counting NWN then DA:O is my least favorite.......
And BioWare's worst is still better than 80% of the rest of the industry:)

Tied with Mass Effect 2. That one is technically better, but so atrociously written that it brings the entire series begun in ME1 down. Ah yes, "the Giant Arnold"...

DA2 seems written up to or nearly up to the standard set by DA:O, but the bastardization from RPG to "action" RPG in mechanics makes it a chore to play. I can't seem to muster up energy to complete more than one or two of these hack and slash "another wave!" style of quests in a row, before I have to quit the game and do something else. Far different from the extremely immersive DA:O.

Neither of them are terrible or bad games. Just... average, on the balance.

5 and 6 are light years behind the top 4 slots. not even close.

BG1? Absolutely. I might actually have placed it too high on the list. The first Baldur's Gate is one the most overrated RPGs.

NVN is worse than DA2 and Jade Empire is much much worse. Jade Empire is the worst Bioware game i ever played at least DA2 has some redeeming qualities.

I don't think it's a bad game, it just wasn't designed to entertain someone like me. It's the only Bioware game to do that, however.

No, not by a long shot.

Neverwinter Nights was by far the worst of the Bioware games I've played. Don't get me wrong it had its fun moments. But the game just never grabbed me except for the co-op multiplayer.

In my opinion.. DA2 is better than DAO, but not quite as good as ME2. Mass Effect 2 is actually my favorite game period though.
