BG games and Neverwinter.

The best Bioware games without question are Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age.

Come on, even with my big meh to some of the changes, DA 2 is still a good game. Anyone who played Dungeon Lords would have to agree... that's like the worst RPG ever... and Baldur's Gate for mobile too!

Was not a fan of NWN singleplayer.
My favorites: DA:O, BG 1, KotOR and ME 1--In that order.

I've played every Bioware game other than the Mass Effect iphone app, Shattered Steel and the Kingmaker xpac for NWN. Having said that, Neverwinter Nights OC was downright mediocre. And not "Bioware Mediocre" like Knights of the Old Republic, (which means really damn good overall), just straight meh. Which is why when I'm discussing Bioware games I often forget that it exists.

Shadows of Undrentide did some to make it up and I accepted Hordes of the Underdark as an official apology, but that doesn't change the fact the original was meh.

That said, I'd put DA2 around the middle of the list, right above Origins.

Of these all but NWN are like a quarter of an inch appart. NWN is in the next room over. Smelling.

I laugh at people who say Mass Effect 2 is their worst game... seriously? No I never played them on consoles, Mass Effect 1 pc Mass Effect 2 pc. The writing, voice acting, story, characters, graphics, shooting and cover mechanics were all spot on. Seriously when I read someone who says "mass effect 2 was their worst game.." you must be a God damn troll. Oh no it didn't have a cluster**** of an inventory, oh no the story is bad, oh no the guns shoot and things die.. where is the dice rolling? wahhh

Neverwinter and Jade Empire were worse by a mile. But don't get me wrong, I didn't regret playing them. Just didn't enjoy them on a story basis (Neverwinter) or Roleplay basis (Jade) nearly as much as other efforts. And Awakening was pretty bad.

DA2 is currently sitting pretty high on my list.

Yeah ME2 was my least favorite BW game to date. The writing was inconsistent for the franchise, full of reboots, and plot holes. The voice acting was par for the course and not better or worse than any other BW game, the characters were one-sided brats with daddy issues,  graphics don't have much weight with how I judge a game, and the shooting/cover mechanics were a dumbed down version of Gears of War beta. This is even without mentioning crap mechanics like pre-patched planet scanning and the Wipeout:In Space game that is known as the Hammerhead.

Yes. Dragon Age 2 is the worst BioWare game I have ever played. Of all the games I have played, BG, BG2, NWN, KOTOR, JE, ME, and ME2 not one rates below an 8 out of 10 for me. DA2 rates as a 7.5. Also, there have been elements of BW games that have disapointed me, ME2's main story, ME1's combat but nothing that I down right hate. There are a few things that I absolutely hate about DA2 and most of it has to do w/ recycled maps and combat.

No. NWN was probaly the worst I fully played. Poor UI and terrible OC plot. ME I couldn't play more than about an hour so I can't really count it. I may go back at some point, but shooters bore me.

I dont think that the OP was actually intending on this turning into a "We Hate Dragon Age 2, irrationally!" thread.

He didnt ask if you all hated it exactly; just if you felt it was Biowares worst title to date.

I am not saying that Dragon Age 2 is a bad game, or that I hate it. Its a good game and some of the things (prior to act 3) were totally awesomesauce; but I feel that it is definately Bioware's weakest title.

I really liked this game, but as far as Bioware games go this one is at the bottom of the list

1-KOTOR
2-ME
3-DA:O
4-ME2
5-JE
6-DA2

Now don't get me wrong I like all the games on that list and have played them all many times, I just don't think DA2 is as strong as the rest(Story wise its just as good though).

As of right now, DA2 is the worst Bioware game that I've played.

That said, Mass Effect 2 and Jade Empire are still sitting on my shelf, and I never purchased/played Sonic Chronicles or MDK2.

Whether a game is the worst ever published by any publisher or developer is highly subjective and depends solely on the the individual's personal opinion based on their own individual preferences.

In marketing, however, the best or worse for a given game is usually determined by total volume sales percentages per capita.

Therefore, while a given individual may believe that a particular game is the worst or best game they may have played actually matters very little in the over all scheme of things.

Opinion is, after all, a matter of individual perspective...
