For me ME2 is the worst and then DA2.

I like DA2 but it needed another 6 months developing time.

With mods or without mods? ME, ME2 and JE automatically gets pushed to the bottom of the list due to the lack of proper modding tools. There's only one reason why NWN can rank so high, because it's the most modular and had the most easily accessable toolset of its time. The base game is arguable one of the worst in Bioware's history, but the game redeemed itself on user created contents alone.

Bioware has no worst or bad game. I will say the game I enjoyed the least amount was Jade Empire

No such thing as a bad BioWare game.

I never did complete a full play through of the original NWN single player campaign (though I did beat both expansions and play online for 4 years), it was just too long and didn't grab me into the story that much. So for me, that was the worst, though I haven't touched Jade Empire or the Mass Effect series so I can't speak to them.

But I really like every Bioware game I've played so far.

I don't like Baldur's Gate at all. Not saying it's a bad game, just not for me.

I actually think it's one of the best bioware games I've played. I love the new fluid combat system and the game is structured really well so that it unfolds carefully so you don't see all the conversation in one go and get to enjoy your decisions in the game - it further improves the strong morally grey stance that bioware have been moving towards for a while. Bioware broke away from the standard savior of the world against ancient evil affairs and focused on a more realistic storyline involving the politics of the world. Something that was touched on quite a bit in Dragon Age and is now fully realised in Dragon Age 2.

I think people are being stupid hard on a game that has far less wrong with it than its predessor. I think the same with Mass Effect 2. People get upset when bioware tries to alter the formula to do something different.

The answer for me? Yes. But that still makes it pretty darn good. ME2 is still my favorite, followed by DAO and Jade Empire. Looking at the responses in this thread, some would agree with me, some would rank the games exactly the opposite of what I think.

It really is individual.

Origins was the worst I've played, mostly because I played the console version. That said, it is among my favorite games of all time, so that should say something about how much I enjoy Bioware games.

Sonic Chronicles and Baldur's Gate 1. Origins (console) would also rank there.

Don't hit me, please!

Except "different" for Bioware means conforming to the norm of other developers. If I wanted normal games I would buy them from companies that do them well, not from a developer just copying mechanics because they seem popular.

You have to love these forums. The only place on the internet where people seriously consider Mass Effect 2 to be a bad game...

And no, DA2 isn't the worst Bioware game. By some considerable margin it's Neverwinter Nights for me. The user generated content was great but the story bioware created was beyond dull.

Give it a chance, I did, I don't regret doing so.

Every game of Bioware that I own I love. Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, DAO , DA2 , ME and ME 2.

I just love them all, I just hope they continue on the good work they have shown so far:)

Yes, this is the worst Bioware game I have played. I have played since BG1. Not counting Sonic or Jade Empires. DA2 is not a good game, it's average.

Well, I really only loved Baldur's Gate when I found the Level Cap Remover by TeamBG. I hated when I solo'ed it and hit the cap halfway through the game! What can I say... I love gaining xp from kills and leveling up my characters! ^_^

If that game had a redeeming feature, I couldn't tell you what it was.

Well, I could, but that would just bore you. So, did you get naked?

DA2 is easily the worst BioWare game I have played. Loved all the other ones, particularly ME2 which is one of the best games I've played. Can't believe people think ME1 is better though.

This game garners my lowest rating for a BioWare game, ever. Saying it's the 'worst', though, feels wrong. 'Has the most disappointing factors' sums it up, I suppose. Then again, though, it wasn't all disappointing.

Argh. It's not quite the game I love to hate, nor is it the one I hate to love, though it has parts of both.

If not what is?

No. JE, NWN OC, ME1 are worse imho. BG 1 and 2, Kotor and ME2 are better.

Origins has lot of polish and was developed with a very long dev cycle that obscured most of the game faults. But imho in term of pure fun and general design direction, DA2 is better. It only needed one more year of development I must admit.

For me it's DAO. Even though I like most of BW's games if I absolutely had to say which one was the "worst" Ive played, it'd have to be Origins.

The worst? Neverwinter nights 1, serius, the story was bad, but had some card to play with custom servers and go on.
Dragon age 2, once you ended the game... you have nothing to do.
