I've played all the baldurs gates, all the never winter nights, kotor, both mass effects and most of the DLC and the only game I didnt like was the first few hours of baldurs gate 1, and it wasnt because it was a bad game I just didnt like being that under powered.

DA: Origins
ME2
ME1 -- DA2 (tied)
Jade Empire
BG1 (the original was fun, but it took a lot of my patience to play it, granted I was like 10 years old)

NWN
I really need to play KOTOR, I just always avoided it because I was never a big star wars fan.
I also just want to point out, I generally (although it is slowly changing) prefer fantasy settings over Sci-Fi, I think I liked ME1 on a whole more than DA2, but the fantasy setting makes them tie.

I agree.
It seems impossible to me that people can hate it - dislike some of its features and what not yes but not the whole game itself.
Its a great game; a lot of the gameplay idiocies in ME1 were resolved. The storyline isnt as strong, but its a good storyline.
The only thing I hate about ME2 really passionately is the Romances.
IMO they are the worst romances in any Bioware game. Firstly once again FemShep can be a lesbian, but ManShep is suddenly and inexpicably a "PRE DEFINED CHARACTER" according to (not sure if it was Casey or Ray) one of the CEO's of Bioware and therefore NOT A POOFTER. That I found massively offensive. Secondly the romances turn what could be and is if you are the same sex a well rounded and fleshed out character into something 2 dimensional and painfully annoying to deal with.
The girls turn into walking talking b00bs, and bum; and the boys similarily turn into walking talking penis n bum. And when you combine this with the fact that ME2 is the worst for Ninjamances of all Bioware games (at one point in my first play thru ALL three Females thought my LoyalToAshley ManShep was "dating" them) and its that appalling that I avoid the romancable females like the plague as ManShep.
Sorry didnt mean to rant but I really hate the ME2 romances lol.
EDIT:
Personally in order to "save" Dragon Age 2 they will need to do 2 things.
First, they will need to do an update for the toolset and more seriously support the modding community.
Second, DLC just isnt going to cut it. A proper expansion pack will be needed.
If they dont do these things I fully see DA2 being their worst selling game ever.

What misstakes? All I found was improvments, except reuse of maps.

That was Dr. Muzyka. Casey Hudson was the one who explained that FemShep was just as predefined, because there weren't any same-sex relationships in Mass Effect at all. Because Asari aren't actually women. Despite their codex entry and every in-game reference pointing to the contrary. Yeah. That's the ME team, folks.

My last comment on this put simply is: there are better things to waste ones time occupying than complaining about things you didnt enjoy without any reasoning behind what you didnt like and what you'd like to see improove.
Its a shame some people wont quite appriciate those facts.
Then, why you don't live up to your words?

*headdesk*
Even if Asari arent women (which isnt true because ALL ME lore says they are an ALL FEMALE MONOGENDERED race not a NONE Gendered or Neutral Gendered race), FemShep is not and her having the hots for Liara does make her at least bisexual or an outright lesbian. And Yeoman Chambers counts as a Human Female last time I checked.
Therefore FemShep ISNT as "predefined". God they were both idiots then.

I'm not sure the people who find ME2 to be the worst Bioware games actually "hate" it. Bioware standards are pretty high, their worst is quite good.
I don't like ME2 much, right now the worst Bioware I've played, but I do not hate it (I'm not overjoyed at the idea of replaying it once for each of my ME1 character that I want to play in ME3).

To play devil's advocate : yes they should make Shep able to swing whatever way the player's want. However I do not mind that the other characters have their own predefined sexuality. The fact that all romanceable characters in DA2 can be romanced by whatever character is actually a sore point for me as I find it to be a loss of character definition (I had the same problem with DAO where the romances nicely fit a 2x2 chart).

I actually like that they are all bisexual.
Its not realistic but it is fairer; and more fun. And lets face it with how this game is it needs every little thing it can to add to replayability.
lol.
I wouldnt have minded about ME2 if it were actually the case that Shep was a predefined character but he isnt. Everything about him can be defined. Hes not like Geralt or whatshisname from Halflife.
He can be from 9 different backgrounds.
3 Backgrounds, 3 Service histories makes 9 origin combinations.
He can be any class.
Sentinel, Vanguard, Soldier. etc.
He can even be female.
Kick ass JennyHaleShep.
She can do Kaidan. Or He can So Ashley. They can do Liara.
In ME2 these options expand to include the truely awful ninjasexmances in that game.
He can be paragon. She can be renegade. They can be a mix of the two - the so called "Paragrade" or "Renagon" alignments.
Everything about Shepard is NOT predefined; except for his sexuality apparently (but not hers in spit of Casey Hudsons protests).
Its just wrong. And Actually kind of offensive. If Shepard was straight then make him straight - dont flip flop. I dont mind the exclusively str8 romances in a game. Playing as Geralt in The Witcher I totally romanced Triss.
