Whenever I turn on the option for enhanced shadows my screen looks like this.
Even if I turn the options off, it shows in rooms with lots of lighting (the beach and even sometimes showed in deeproads). It also shows on characters, but looks more like rings. I would think it's the borders of shadowing layers ? Dunno really tho.



Any way to fix this ? I updated the Drivers to the latest, installed DX 11 installed the patch 1.01 etc.

Have you tried lowering the AA? Might be an Anti-aliasing artifact.

hmm.. I just tried, if I completely turn of AA it disappears (from what I can see) can't even put it to 2x AA
Thing is, my friend is running the game on the exact same system (we ordered the components together, bought everything twice) and he doesn't have the problem. freaks me out

go into your ATI Configuration tool (CCC I think, its been a while since I used ATI Card) and see if you can restore it to factory default.

You might have change something like Caytalist AI to Turbo or something, or having one of the sub options in AA on.

Your friend might just not have those on.

Oh I think I found it, I went to the catalyst control center to check the AA settings and then saw the setting: Smoothvision HD Anti-Aliasing, remembered I messed with it before to try some tweaking in other games. Had the Filter set to 'Wide-Tent'. That's what causing the problem. Set it back to 'Box'
