I have the first three Band of Three notes in Act 1, but I can't find the one that talks about the Viscount.  I assume it's at the Viscount's Keep, but I've scoured that place and can't find it.  Is there something I'm missing?

According to the strategy guide, the locations of the codexes for Act I are the Bone Pit, Gallows, Vicount's Keep and Lowtown (night).

However, the guide says you only need to collect 3 for the achievement to proceed to Act II. Since you already found your three in the first act, maybe that's why it's not showing up (sparkling) when you explore the Keep?

Hmm. Not sure. I haven't found any yet in Act 1 (haven't gone hunting in other places in the playthrough where I'm paying attention), and I went poking about in the Keep on the advice of the strategy guide, and couldn't find the note the guide talked about.

That helps for the XBox, but it doesn't work for the PC version...

I think its bugged for the pc spam clicking the location dosn't do anything and tab dosn't show it.

I'm having the same problem on the PC. If anyone finds a solution, please post. i'm going to try to get the achievement without it but I have a feeling it won't work.

Well, you only need 3 and there are 4 so it's not a problem.  I got the achievement pretty easily.  Although I did want to read the 4th codex...

This thread is out of date but for future records the viscount keep location for the codex is *spoiler* painting in Senechal Brans office.

It also has been patched as it now properly "sparkles".
