Whenever i start my xbox(and the game cause of autoplay) the game will start, get to the initial loading screen, while there the disk unreadable(one time it claimed the game was a DVD) message pops up.
I'm sent back to the dashboard and it says play Dragon Age II. I start the game(haven't even opened the tray) and the game plays just fine.
The disk is in pristine condition.
Any ideas?

Your DVD player could be going bad, or it has dirt in it where it grabs your dvd and isnt spinning it to the speeds needed to read the disk. My player got so bad, it wouldnt read anything, and since my xbox is old, I cleaned it myself and it was fine.
