My mage hawke was too smart to go down that alley, anyway, and my warrior hawke was too deep in "you took my sister, prepare to die - righteous rage" to notice much about the magic aspect. If anything, it got worse - our mother died and they didn't even let me visit bethany, those stupid templar bastards.
wowowowoahhhh wait up dude. Gamlen says that after all you've been through HE'LL go break the news for her. So other people are free to visit just you can't cause...well somtimes she'd join the wardens and those players would have no chance to see her i guess.

Yeah I wish there was a chance to tell our surviving sibling because it seems kinda wrong that we don't see them again until the middle of an invasion.Lithuasil wrote...

I respecced my mage at somepoint during my first playthrough, specced into force mage and just didnt spend the second point, spirit healer and blood magic didnt seem worth it. If you weren't restricted by "so and so must be active" I might have bothered to choose a second one.
you know just choosing a specialization gives you some bonuses. i had force mage just for the extra force it adds to your spells didnt take any of the actual spells
