Hello everyone,
I do realize that there are a lot of topics about flickering shadows and that kind of thing but my problem seems slightly different then everything I found.
my problem exists since the first time I played Mass Effect 2 (I can't remember if I had it in 1 as well). It fortunatelly doesn't effect gameplay itself, it is just annoying and I just want to know what it might be.
basically when ever I am actually in game, there are black shadows of different size and length flickering over the entire screen. they have different angles and shapes but seem to be mostly around the characters (own and team).
video:
I basically tried everything I could think of from changing all kinds of graphic settings to updating drivers and such.
My system:
Laptop Asus G51VX
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 @2.53GHz
Clock Speed: 2521 MHz
Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M
Ram: 4gig DDR3
Windows 7 home premium 64bit
Thanks guys,
Anubis

Have you tried downgrading your drivers? Newer drivers aren't always more compatible with an older game.Anubis wrote...

i have exactly the same problem. I have recently installed win7x64 (i had xp x32). Before, never had any problems with ME2, but now, with the win7, my screen gets loaded with these flickering shapes. They appear mostly in the center of screen and its realy annoying. I searched the problem everywhere and i've only seen Anubis with it. My GPU is nvidia 9500gt and CPU Intel pentium4 3gHz. Someone, please help, the game is almost unplayable.

1) Please register the game on the forums. This is not an accusation, but given the spate of users with illegally downloaded copies coming to the forums asking for help, forum registration is the only way we can be sure we are dealing with a legit copy. Illegally downloaded copies include hacked and modified files which could be either corrupt, or full of malware. Once its registered, we will be happy to help. Forums Registration here;
